答:优点:①交换和再生在不同的设备中进行，使设备的设计适用于各自的用途;②设置再生后的树脂贮存器，使再生时停歇的时间减少到最小程度;有可能减少备用设备，贮水箱的体积也可能减小;③在专用的再生器中再生，有利于提高再生效率，再生剂也不会漏人出水中，从而保证出水不被污染;④由于混合床的运行周期很长，可以几台混合床共用一个再生器。
缺点:树脂的磨损率较大。
